About Mrs J Bowler:
What I like about Parklands: Everyday is different; i really enjoy the people I work with. We grow as a team. Parklands staff have supported me through the whole of my training to be a teacher and I can't think of anywhere else I would rather have done my training. The children are great fun and so keen to learn. They make it all worth while.
My favourite thing about my job is: The environment is welcoming and the children enjoy being a part of parklands. There is not a day goes by where I have not laughed. If I can be part of one good memory of life at school then I am happy.
In my spare time I: What is that? I am taxi driver, mother of a teenager (note the grey hairs) and a boisterous eleven year old who plays every sport going. My house is always full of children whether it is mates of my own children or the neighbours children. The Bowlers door is always open for feeding, drinking and laughing. When I do get spare time I like to chill with my mates, concerts and I am a follower of British Super Bikes.
My favourite sport is: Super Bikes, Formula ONe. I can watch most sports but I do not participate in any. I do love to run but I am a summer runner and have had to resort to Wii fit to keep me fit but it's not the same.
My favourite food is: Very boring, anything that is not good for you.
My favourite colour is: Red
Things that annoy me: Lateness, and people not taking responsibility and being taken for granted.
If I did not work at Parklands I would: Can't think of anywhere or anything I would do except maybe travel and chill, but would be bored. How boring!
My one wish would be: Life was not so complicated and dangerous. Children were allowed to be children without pressures. Someone invented a hair dye that permanently got rid of grey.
