On Friday 25th April we were delighted to officially launch our school website. The children watched Mr D O'Brien officially cut the ribbons of the red and white balloons to symbolise the launch. Mrs B Ellender, Vice Chair of Governors, kindly ensured the balloons did not become airbourne until the appropriate time.
Cheering pupils watched the balloons disappear in an easterly direction towards Nottingham and beyond.
Every child was given a sticker with the website address on to wear. The children were encouraged to ask their parents/carers to log on at home.
In school children logged onto www.parklands-school.co.uk and navigated the pages. Most fun was had finding out about the teacher's secrets!
The school are very grateful to Mr O'Brien for the tremendous amount of work that he has put into setting up the website.
