English - Thursday

For today's English work, please write a range of adjectives (describing words) to describe a lion. I have given you some examples to start you off!

There is also a word bank (on the document below) to offer you support, should you need it. CHALLENGE:  Maths - Thursday

Please find some ideas below that you may wish to complete at home today. Please do as much or as little as you wish!

The children would have access to a number line in school or a number square to help them calculate: For example: for 13 + 4, they would find 13 on the number line or number square and count on 4 places, or desirably, they would calculate mentally. For example, for 36 + 8, they would 'put 38 in their head' and count on 8 using their fingers.
