Our question for this week is:
How did Florence Nightingale change hospitals?
Have a look at the Florence Nightingale powerpoint below.
After you have watched it, print out the cards and have a go at sorting them into what you think hospitals were like before Florence Nightingale, and what they were like after.
If you don't have a printer, you could look at the pictures and just decide which one goes where.
Our Literacy work this week is again related to the History. You will need to complete the above History task first.
When you have looked at and sorted the pictures of the hospital before and after Florence Nightingale, can you answer our weekly question and write about how Florence Nightingale changed hospitals?
Last week the Learning Objective was to use 'and' to join sentences. If you are confident with that, have a go at this weeks Learning Objective which is: Can you use a range of conjunctions to join your sentences?
* A conjunction is a joining word such as 'and', 'but', 'because' and 'so'.
Our PSHE work is all about Exploring Emotions.
Please see the information and sheet below for the activity. Don't worry if you can't print it, you could just read it and write/draw it on a piece of your own paper.
Our Maths work this week is all about comparing. We have done a lot of work on this in class before using the more than. less than and equals symbols.
I have included a guide first to show how we teach it.
