Good morning class 3,
I hope you are all okay and finding plenty to do to keep your hands and minds busy!
This week we are looking at Florence Nightingale again as part of our topic work, we are looking at how she changed hospitals. In maths we are looking at comparing objects. In PSHE we are exploring emotions. I've put instructions on the sheet for you to read.
Hope you enjoy this weeks work!
Our question of the week is: How did Florence Nightingale change hospitals?
Have a look at the Florence Nightingale powerpoint and then print of the cards and then sort the cards into what you think the hospital was like before Florence Nightingale and what it was like after. If you don't have a printer, you could just have a look on the screen and decide.
Our Literacy work this week is again related to the History. You will need to complete the above History task first.
When you have looked at and sorted the pictures of the hospital before and after Florence Nightingale, can you answer our weekly question and write about how Florence Nightingale changed hospitals?
Last week the Learning Objective was to use 'and' to join sentences. If you are confident with that, have a go at this weeks Learning Objective which is: Can you use a range of conjunctions to join your sentences?
* A conjunction is a joining word such as 'and', 'but', 'because' and 'so'.
