Week specific work for 15.6.20

Hello class 4,

What a change in the weather from last week! At least you can use your rain gauges to measure how much rain we are having! I have loved receiving the pictures of your rain gauges and the videos of you presenting the weather! We have lots of future weather presenters on our hands :)

We are on week 3 already and the question for this week is: How are hot and cold places different? In literacy, we are going to be writing sentences about the main things that are in hot and cold places. In Geography, we going to find out what we would find in hot and cold places and what clothes we would wear. In maths, we are measuring using non-standard units of measure.

Mrs Etchells

For literacy, I want you to write sentences using the powerpoints to tell me what you would find in hot and cold countries. Remember your capital letters and full stops. Remember to say the sentence a few times before you write it.

Challenge- can you use a joining word to connect your sentences?

Example: In cold countries you will find snow and ice and you might see an igloo.
