I am the longest serving member of staff at Parklands Infant and Nursery School, during my time at Parklands I have had different roles, I began as a Teaching Assistant and discovered I had the burning desire to teach. Parklands encouraged and supported me through my teacher training. I have taught every Key Stage; however, I found my real passion for Early years where I can help to build the foundations to learning and be the first part of our pupils’ journey making them ‘Parklands People’
Over the thirty years that I have been at Parklands I have seen many changes and worked with many generations of families and different staff, which I feel helps me to contribute to being a serving Staff Governor. I have many years of fond memories, and I want to give back to Parklands everything that it has given to my own children, my colleagues, and the local community to ensure that Parklands is the best it can be
