  We hope you have all had a good summer and the children are looking forward to coming back! School is open for Year 1, and Year 2 on Wednesday 4th September. New Reception and existing nursery start on Thursday 5th September. New nursery children will have been given their start dates individually.

• Red Nose Day

  As it is Red Nose Day on Friday children are welcome to come to school wearing their red noses.

  Friday 15th February Parklands Infant and Nursery School will be closed for an INSET Training Day. School will re-open on Monday 25th February 2019 for Spring Term 2.

• Children in Need Fundraising

  Dress in spots for a £1 ‘fine’ on Friday 16th November to raise money for Children in Need. There will also be a large picture of Pudsey Bear in the school hall which we hope to cover in coins during the school day so if you would like your child to participate please send them to school with some change on Friday.

  REMINDER: INSET DAY MONDAY 5TH NOVEMBER - SCHOOL AND NURSERY CLOSED FOR CHILDREN

• Non-School Uniform Day and tuck shop

  Fri 26 Oct 2018
  To raise money for the school FoP have organised a non-school uniform day for Friday 26th October. Children will be able to come to school dressed in non-uniform for a donation of £1. There will also be an after school tuck shop on the school playground. Thank-you for supporting these events!

  Tuesday 4th September - back to school for Year 1 and 2

  Wednesday 5th September - remaining Nursery children start back

  Thursday 6th September - new Reception children start

  The school photographer is in to take individual school photos on the 12th June. Families can arrive before school for group photos.
