Friends of Parklands

needs you!

Friends of Parklands (FOP) are our schools team of voluntary parents /carers/family members who run events throughout the school year to raise funds for the school. Money made from these events enable the school to buy all the things the teachers would love to have to enhance your child's learning, but they just don’t have the budget for it!

So far, some of the items we have purchased include; the Story Benches and Reading Chair situated outside Nursery, the whiteboard in the hall and the hearing loop in Unit 1, plus a new laptop for the hall to enable them to fully utilise the whiteboard , projectors for whiteboards, a PA sterio system for playtimes plus many more items.........

We are always looking for new members with fresh ideas & members to help as much, or as little, as their free time allows. Why not come along to one of our meetings to see what we are up to and give the school your ideas for what you think it needs!  

If you can help to raise funds and would like to get involved let us know – the more the merrier!  This would include; nights out to enjoy ourselves, meeting at the pub for a quick get together, photocopying in school, making posters/cutting & sticking where/whenever you can fit it in.
