With over 14 years of experience as a primary school teacher, I have held roles within the Senior Leadership Team, as well as Deputy Safeguarding Lead. My background includes extensive experience in curriculum development and subject leadership, with a particular passion for mathematics and mentoring trainee teachers.
Last year, my family and I relocated to Long Eaton to be closer to family and friends as we raise our two young daughters. This year, as my eldest daughter began her school journey at Parklands, I gained a deeper appreciation for the vital role that early education plays in shaping children’s futures.
This perspective has amplified my commitment to proactively supporting my daughter’s educational journey and desire to contribute to the ongoing success of Parklands Infant School and the wider community it serves as a member of the Governing Body.
